InterACTTions
Hosted by Dr. Chris Taylor, InterACTTions is a video conversation series with key staff and experts in the areas of masculinity, law enforcement, disability services, counseling, legal, student conduct, academic support, and diversity, equity and inclusion. These InterACTTions involve Chris talking about the issues identified in the episode with his guest(s). A supporting document accompanies each episode that includes questions for further discussion, key points on the issue at hand, and additional books, articles and online resources to further explore the issues. An audio version is available for download for those who could make use of these during drive and travel time.

Pathways
The Pathways risk rubric can be used for every case coming before your BIT, CARE, or threat team. Rate each applicable category below on a 3-point scale. If a category does not apply, leave it blank. Click on the category name for scoring guidance. After you submit your ratings, you will be provided a set of intervention recommendations.
The Navigator
The Navigator is InterACTT’s expert system that rises above traditional pen and paper assessments and intervention plans. It takes the guess work out of these processes, as it guides counselors, human resource professionals, and CARE and threat team members to work through a series of questions which will be used to develop an intervention plan and have clear documentation to support these interventions. Based on best-practices and in-depth research, your answers will be assembled and analyzed by the system to create a risk level and risk-based suggestions for interventions. Because of the depth and breadth of the report, the Navigator requires that you answer questions related to each of the core concepts. As you submit each section, the concept icon will change to green. When all concepts are completed and green, you will be able to submit for the report.
Privacy will never be an issue – no information is saved within the system. Instead, the summary dashboard and guidance recommendations are created to provide you with a clear intervention plan and documentation to justify the next steps for the individual.
Actually Autistic Educator
Actually Autistic Educator is a podcast hosted by advisory team member Jeanne Clifton on topics related to accessibility access and issues affecting the autistic, ASD and Asperger’s community. While there has been significant recent improvements in education and access to support for autistic individuals, there remains a long history where they have faced misunderstanding, discrimination, bullying and teasing during secondary, K-12, college and university and in the workplace. AAE sets out to shed light on these topics through an audio podcast as well as a summary document for each episode.
AAE is free to non-subscribers as well, and is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
Subscribers have access to a summary sheet with key points, quotes and resources.
InterACTTives
These interactive case studies use audio/visual and video components to build a case for you to score on the Navigator. Our first case involves Matilda, a first-year college student studying at a residential, four-year university. She came from Lancaster, U.K. on a scholarship for soccer (football). It is now late October. A teammate shares a concern with you and the CARE team. These videos are a sampling of what you'll find to help you gather information on the case.

TODD

Race
Race is a peer-reviewed annual collection of original research articles published by InterACTT. We are dedicated to staying current with research related to issues of racial inequality and the systematic and personal racism faced by people of color. Authors are encouraged to share case studies, original research, practical techniques and novel interventions in the assessment and management of risk and threat.
For those interested in submitting to the journal, the editorial board is committed to nurturing research, particularly student ideas and concepts. Submissions are paired with an editorial board member to guide you through the process of improving your submission.
SITREP
These SITREP briefs, hosted by Dr. Brian Van Brunt, include a video discussion of a recent mass shooting or other attack and a supporting document highlighting critical aspects useful for future prevention. There will also be a timeline and teaching slides provided for each SITREP to help highlights these events to other team members. InterACTT members are free to use these for teaching staff and faculty within their organization, but we respectfully request these slides and supporting documents are not used in trainings where there is a fee. An audio version is available for download for those who could make use of these during drive and travel time. Library
This library has been created to benefit educators, researchers, educators and chairs of CARE and threat teams as a clearinghouse of information related to mental health, suicide, threat and violence risk assessment, disability and accommodation, student conduct and CARE and threat team process and function. Below you will find an example of the summary document with an overview narrative, key points, pull quotes and an APA formatted resources that is included with each library entry. Each entry also includes a PDF and JPEGs useful for teaching these concepts to faculty, staff and other audiences.

Carolyn’s Corner is an opportunity to discuss legal issues as they may impact K-12, secondary, college/university and workplace settings. Carolyn Reinach Wolf is an executive partner in the law firm of Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara, Wolf & Carone, LLP and director of the firm's Mental Health Law practice. She will share her wisdom from the field and address concerns related to mental illness, information sharing, how best to mitigate risk and numerous other topics that arise.
